Job summary

DUBIMED Medical Supplies Trading is seeking an entry-level Accountant to support day-to-day finance tasks in our Dubai office. You will process vendor invoices, reconcile statements, maintain ledgers, and assist with VAT filings and monthly reports.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 1-2 years of hands-on accounting experience, and strong Excel skills. Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar software is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 1-2 years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables).
• Working knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Tally or Zoho Books.
• Strong numerical accuracy and analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, reconcile supplier statements and follow up on outstanding payments
• Maintain journal entries, general ledger accounts and expense tracking
• Post intercompany entries and perform monthly reconciliation
• Perform bank and account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Support VAT and tax filings and assist with audit preparation
• Help generate weekly and monthly financial reports
