Job summary

SearchPlus HR is assisting a Dubai-based private hospital in seeking an experienced Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon. The role requires a UK-trained consultant with a CCT in Trauma and Orthopedic Surgery, strong clinical expertise, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

You will assess, manage, and treat a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions, perform orthopedic procedures, and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Proven experience at Consultant level in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Commitment to evidence-based medicine and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage orthopedic conditions affecting bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, and tendons.
• Perform orthopedic surgical procedures appropriate to training and clinical expertise.
• Manage trauma cases, fractures, joint disorders, and other musculoskeletal injuries.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, including surgical and non-surgical management.
• Provide preoperative assessments, postoperative care, and follow-up consultations.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with hospital clinical governance and patient safety standards.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, and continuous quality improvement activities.
