Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon to join a leading private hospital in Dubai, UAE. This opportunity is suited to a UK-trained consultant with a CCT in Trauma and Orthopedic Surgery, strong clinical expertise, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.

The successful candidate will assess and manage a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions, perform orthopedic procedures, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve excellent patient

Qualifications

• UK-trained consultant with a CCT in Trauma and Orthopedic Surgery.
• Recognized medical degree (MBBS/MBChB or equivalent) and GMC registration or eligibility.
• Proven experience at Consultant level in Orthopedic Surgery.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage orthopedic conditions affecting bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, and tendons.
• Perform orthopedic surgical procedures appropriate to training and clinical expertise.
• Manage trauma cases, fractures, joint disorders, and other musculoskeletal injuries.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, including surgical and non-surgical management.
• Provide preoperative assessments, postoperative care, and follow-up consultations.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with hospital governance and patient safety standards.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, and continuous quality improvement.
• Engage in continuing professional development opportunities.
• Work with an experienced multidisciplinary pediatric team and modern pediatric facilities where applicable.
