Health7Careers is recruiting a Consultant / Specialist Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon for a leading multispecialty hospital in Dubai, UAE. The role centers on advanced surgical care of the mouth, jaws, facial bones and related soft tissues within a modern hospital setting.

The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team, perform a range of procedures from implant placement to orthognathic surgery, and collaborate with dentistry, plastic surgery, ENT, oncology and trauma teams to

Qualifications

• Medical/Dental degree MBBS/BDS with specialist OMFS qualification.
• Higher qualifications such as MDS/DNB/FCPS or equivalent recognised boards.
• 3-5 years post-specialisation experience in OMFS in hospital/advanced setting.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat conditions affecting oral cavity, jawbones, facial structures and surrounding soft tissues.
• Perform surgical procedures including wisdom tooth extraction, dental implants, orthognathic surgery, facial trauma reconstruction.
• Manage facial fractures, trauma, and oral pathology such as cysts and tumors.
• Provide reconstructive procedures for deformities and functional jaw disorders.
• Collaborate with orthodontists, ENT, plastic surgery, oncology teams for comprehensive care.
• Conduct pre-operative planning, operative care, and post-operative follow-up; use advanced imaging for planning.

Education

MBBS / BDS

Specialist qualification in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

MDS / DNB / FCPS (Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery)

American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

UK CCT / FRCS (Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery)

European Board Certification in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

Royal College Certification (Canada)

Australian Fellowship (FRACDS or equivalent)

Arab Board in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

Equivalent internationally recognised qualification

3-5 years post-specialisation experience
