Job summary

OVI is assisting a client in Dubai to recruit an Auditor for Operations within Internal Audit. The role focuses on independent, risk-based audits of Operations and Corporate Services in line with UAE Central Bank regulations and global best practices.

The candidate should have banking audit experience, strong communication in English and Arabic, and familiarity with audit management software. A UAE national is required for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of banking experience with over 1 year in banking audit.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic; report writing.
• Knowledge of local banking laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Identify weaknesses in Operations and Corporate Services processes to strengthen controls.
• Conduct audits per IIA Standards and internal policy.
• Assist in preparing Terms of Reference and Audit Planning Memorandum.
• Develop audit test programmes for assigned areas.
• Complete engagements on time with proper working papers and reports.
• Follow up on audit recommendations with stakeholders.
• Collaborate across teams while maintaining independence.
