Job summary

Avanta Works in Dubai is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting tasks and ensure accurate financial records in line with company policies.

Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, reconciling bank accounts, assisting with year-end closings and audits, and maintaining internal controls. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance and at least 3 years of experience; CPA/CA preferred but not required. Salary: 1300 AED/month.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA/CA preferred but not essential.
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other related financial reports.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts and cost centre analysis.
• Reconcile bank accounts on a regular basis.
• Assist with year-end closings, audit schedules and other special projects as assigned.
• Develop, implement, modify and document record keeping process.
• Maintain internal control systems as per company policy and procedures.
