Job summary

Al Ahram Investment in Dubai is seeking an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting tasks, maintain ledgers, reconcile balances, and process invoices and payments. The role demands accuracy and timely delivery within a fast-paced environment.

You will assist in preparing financial statements, management reports, and budgets, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and IFRS, while collaborating with finance and operations teams for planning and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA/ACCA/CMA advantageous.
• Strong core accounting skills: GL, reconciliations, financial reporting, budgeting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; strong Excel for data analysis.
• Knowledge of UAE regulations, VAT, and IFRS or equivalent.
• Experience in professional or multi-service organizations in UAE preferred.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations including recording financial transactions and maintaining ledgers.
• Reconcile bank and other balances; prepare invoices and payments.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, management reports, and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, policies and applicable standards.
• Collaborate with operations and management for financial analysis, cost tracking, and cash flow monitoring.
• Support audits and regulatory filings with documentation.
