Job summary

Snoonu, Qatar’s homegrown Super App, is hiring a Driver Trainer in Sharjah. You will onboard and induct new drivers, teach the Driver App for orders, pickups, deliveries, and customer interactions, and ensure compliance and performance readiness across Kuwait and African driver segments.

You’ll also run practical assessments, deliver refresher training, coach one-on-one, and maintain records and reports. The role blends hands-on coaching with collaboration across Quality and Ops teams to resolve

• Experience in training, logistics, last-mile delivery, fleet, or field operations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; you can make a technical process click for anyone.
• A natural coach's instinct: patient, clear, and genuinely invested in people improving.

Responsibilities

• Run onboarding and induction training for every new driver joining the fleet.
• Teach the Driver App inside-out — orders, pickups, deliveries, and how to nail customer and merchant interactions.
• Walk drivers through attendance, shifts, zones, uniform, equipment, and compliance.
• Run practical assessments before anyone hits the road solo.
• Deliver refresher and corrective training when performance needs a boost.
• Coach drivers one-on-one based on real operational and quality data.
• Team up with Quality and Supply to spot recurring issues and turn them into training fixes.
• Keep training records, assessments, and reports sharp and up to date.

What You’ll Get Your Hands On:

• Comfortable working hands-on with a large, diverse driver community
• Basic comfort with Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
• Experience or cultural fluency working with African driver communities specifically — understanding common communication styles and operational touchpoints for this segment is a real plus
