Gates Corporation in Dubai is seeking a Driver & Warehouse Assistant to help manage stock flow, receive and sanity check shipments, and keep accurate records. You will support the logistics team in documentation, inventory control, and on-site handling of goods.

The ideal candidate has a UAE manual driving license, 3+ years as a warehouse assistant, and a commitment to QHSE, safety, and tidy warehouse practices. This full-time role offers stable work within a global manufacturing environment.

Formación

What to Expect

As a Driver & Warehouse Assistant you will be responsible for controlling the flow of stock through the warehouse, monitoring goods in and out, safely, and efficiently moving and handling items and keeping stock records. You are also expected to support the logistics teams in terms of shipment, documentation preparation and deliveries.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Receipt, inspection, handling, stocking, identification, and issuance of materials.
• Maintenance of warehouse documentation and inventory records.
• Quarantining defective or short-supplied materials.
• Monitoring and maintaining stock levels and product knowledge.
• Assisting with stock counts and inventory registration.Ensuring inventory identification and traceability requirements are maintained.
• Providing on-the-job training to warehouse staff.

Keys to Success

• Preferred to have a Vocational Certificate or High School Certificate
• Should have more than three years of experience as a Warehouse Assistant
• Commitment to continuous improvement in Quality, Health, Safety, and the Environment (QHSE).
• Maintaining warehouse housekeeping and ensuring products are stored correctly.
• Operating the assigned vehicle safely and courteously.
• Maintaining defensive driving practices.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Functions as a team contributor with no supervisory responsibilities

Requirements And Preferred Skills

• Ability to plan, schedule and prioritize the activities.
• Valid UAE Manual Drivers License
• UAE Forklift License preferred
• Ability to resolve simple problems.
• Able to communicate in English and to operate a computer system to generate system-based transactions and documentation
• Good numerical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
