Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain drilling equipment, including drill bits, mud pumps, and hoists
• Monitor drilling progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficient and safe operations
• Conduct pre‑drilling checks and inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during drilling operations
• Collaborate with the drilling team to ensure smooth and timely completion of drilling projects
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries
• Keep accurate records of drilling activities and report any incidents or deviations from the drilling plan
• Train and mentor junior members of the drilling team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Driller in the oil and gas industry
• Extensive knowledge of drilling equipment and techniques
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations
