Job summary

Desert Man Transporting and Contracting LLC (DMTC) is looking for an experienced Civil Draughtsman to join our infrastructure project team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in preparing detailed engineering drawings for roads, utilities, and pipelines, while coordinating with engineers and project teams.

The position requires proficiency in AutoCAD and a diploma in Civil Engineering or Drafting. Immediate joiners are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in UAE infrastructure and civil construction projects.
• Experience in roads, utilities, stormwater, drainage, sewerage, and pipeline projects.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings and as-built drawings.
• Develop civil and infrastructure drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Coordinate with project engineers, surveyors, and QA/QC teams.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Civil Draughtsman to join our infrastructure project team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have strong experience preparing detailed engineering drawings for roads, utilities, pipelines and civil construction projects while coordinating with engineers and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings and as‑built drawings.
• Develop civil and infrastructure drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Prepare drawings for roads, utilities, stormwater, sewerage and pipeline works.
• Coordinate with project engineers, surveyors and QA/QC teams.
• Revise drawings based on consultant and client comments.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and UAE standards.
• Maintain proper drawing registers and document control.

Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or Drafting.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in UAE infrastructure and civil construction projects.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil3D (advantage).
• Experience in roads, utilities, stormwater, drainage, sewerage and pipeline projects.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and coordination skills.
