Job summary

IRTH Group in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is seeking a skilled Structural Draftsman to join our team. The role focuses on creating detailed structural shop drawings from BIM models, coordinating with engineers and architects, and maintaining documentation.

Ideal candidates have a Diploma in Civil Engineering and at least 7 years of structural drafting experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD and knowledge of Revit.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience in structural drafting.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit or other 3D software is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of structural design principles and building codes.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and specs.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed structural shop drawings from BIM models.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to develop accurate models.
• Revise drawings based on engineer feedback and project updates.
• Maintain organized filing system for drawings and documents.
• Ensure on-time completion according to project schedules.
• Utilize Revit and CAD for rapid drafting and iteration.
