Job summary

A leading company in Dubai is seeking a skilled Draftsperson to prepare and revise architectural and MEP drawings. The ideal candidate will have expertise in CAD software and a keen eye for detail, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and regulations. This role involves collaborating with site engineers and project teams, making it integral to the project development process.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil or MEP drawings is preferred.
• Understanding of engineering standards and building codes.

• Prepare detailed architectural civil structural or MEP (Mechanical Electrical Plumbing) drawings based on rough sketches specifications and calculations from engineers or architects.
• Use CAD software (AutoCAD Revit etc.) to create 2D and 3D drawings.
• Revise drawings as per feedback from engineers site team or consultants.
• Ensure that all drawings comply with the relevant codes standards and company guidelines.
• Maintain a well-organized library of updated drawings and documentation.
• Coordinate with site engineers project teams and contractors for updates and changes.
• Assist in quantity take-off and estimation based on approved drawings.
• Perform site visits when required to collect data or verify existing conditions.
