Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE. Set to open in 2027, the resort will belocated50 miles from Dubai International Airport in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theater, and a beach club. Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Dock Attendant - Marina Operations to support the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of the marina.
Reporting to the Marina Supervisor, this role is responsible for assisting with vessel arrivals and departures, providing dockside support, maintaining marina facilities, and delivering exceptional service to vessel owners, captains, crew, and marina guests. The Dock Attendant will play an important role in supporting safe marina operations while ensuring a welcoming and professional guest experience.
With a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and service excellence, this role will contribute to maintaining world-class marina operations and delivering the exceptional standards that define the Wynn experience.
Provide safe and professional berthing and unberthing assistance to vessels in accordance with established marina procedures.
Support vessel arrivals, departures, and dockside operations while ensuring safety standards are maintained at all times.
Monitor marina activity and promptly report operational, navigational, safety, or security concerns to the Marina Supervisor.
Assist with handling mooring lines, fenders, and marina equipment as trained and authorized.
Support the provision and recording of marina utility services, including water, power, and internet connections.
Complete berth inspections, utility readings, operational records, and marina documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Communicate professionally with vessel owners, captains, crew, and marina guests while providing exceptional customer service.
Provide guest services including baggage assistance, buggy coordination, package deliveries, and support for marina service requests.
Assist with waste collection and other marina support services in accordance with operational procedures.
Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of pontoons, docks, guest areas, workboats, service areas, and marina facilities.
Conduct routine inspections related to safety, security, environmental compliance, and facility conditions.
Support controlled marina access and coordinate with Security to report suspicious or unauthorized activity.
Participate in emergency preparedness activities, drills, and incident response procedures as a member of the marina emergency response team.
Assist with routine and corrective maintenance activities in coordination with the Maintenance team and Marina Supervisor.
Conduct berth readiness checks and inspections of mooring systems, reporting deficiencies and concerns as required.
Work collaboratively with marina, security, maintenance, and other resort teams to deliver a seamless guest experience.
Participate in onboarding, operational, safety, emergency response, and service excellence training programs.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Vocational qualification or formal training in Marine Operations, Marina Operations, Water sports, Hospitality, or a related field is an advantage.
Minimum one year of experience in marina operations, boating, water sports, hospitality, outdoor recreation, or a related service environment.
Previous experience in a marina, yacht club, boating, hospitality, or guest-facing operational role is preferred.
VHF Radio Operator's Licence preferred.
Basic First Aid certification preferred.
Proficient swimming ability is required.
Excellent communication and guest service skills, with fluency in spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
Strong teamwork skills and a professional, service-oriented approach.
Ability to work outdoors and safely handle marina equipment, mooring lines, and baggage in varying weather conditions.
Willingness to work a rotating shift pattern, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, in line with operational requirements.
