Job summary

Raffles Hotels & Resorts in Dubai is seeking a Director, Wellness Operations to lead spa, fitness and wellness across the portfolio. Based in Dubai, you will partner with regional teams and hotel leadership on pre-openings, renovations and ongoing operations.

You will drive commercial performance, implement brand standards, and develop programmes, menus and experiences that align with the Raffles and Fairmont wellness visions.

Qualifications

• Senior experience within luxury hotel spa and wellness operations.
• Experience supporting multiple hotels, pre-openings or renovation projects.
• Strong commercial understanding of spa and wellness performance.
• Experience implementing operational standards, training and service concepts.
• International luxury hospitality experience desirable.
• Degree or relevant professional qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the operational performance and development of spa, fitness and wellness across Raffles & Fairmont hotels.
• Ensure the wellness visions, standards and guest experiences are implemented across the portfolio.
• Support hotel teams in reviewing commercial and operational performance, including revenue, productivity, payroll, utilisation and other KPI’s.
• Support pre-openings from planning through launch, including operating models, staffing, training, menus, systems and guest journey.
• Support renovations and repositioning projects, ensuring wellness concepts are practical and commercially sustainable.
• Conduct operational reviews and property visits, identifying priorities and next actions.
• Support the development and implementation of treatment menus, wellness programmes, experiences and retail strategies.
• Work with hotels to establish staffing structures, productivity expectations and routines.

Job Description

The Director, Wellness Operations supports the operational performance, development and delivery of wellness across Raffles and Fairmont hotels, ensuring each property brings the respective brand wellness vision to life through strong, commercially sustainable operations and elevated guest experiences.

Based in Dubai, the role supports existing hotels as well as pre-openings, renovations and repositioning projects, working closely with regional operations teams and hotel leadership from planning through operational delivery.

• Support the operational performance and ongoing development of spa, fitness and wellness across Raffles & Fairmont hotels.
• Ensure the respective Raffles and Fairmont wellness visions, standards and guest experiences are effectively implemented across the portfolio.
• Support hotel teams in reviewing commercial and operational performance, including revenue, productivity, payroll, utilisation, retail and other key wellness KPIs.
• Support pre-openings from planning through launch, including operating models, staffing, training, menus, systems, equipment, standards and guest journey.
• Support renovations and repositioning projects, ensuring wellness concepts are operationally practical, commercially sustainable and aligned with the relevant brand vision.
• Conduct operational reviews and property visits, identifying priorities, recommending actions and supporting follow-through with hotel teams.
• Support the development and implementation of treatment menus, wellness programmes, fitness experiences, retail strategies and operational initiatives.
• Work with hotels to establish effective staffing structures, productivity expectations and operating routines.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and development of spa and wellness leaders where required.
• Support the implementation of brand standards, SOPs, training tools and quality frameworks across the portfolio.
• Identify and share best practices, operational improvements and commercial opportunities across Raffles & Fairmont wellness.
• Work closely with regional operations, hotel leadership, Design & Technical Services and pre-opening teams to ensure wellness is effectively integrated into hotel operations.
• Support the evaluation and implementation of wellness products, partners, technologies and equipment where appropriate.
