Job summary

KBR in Dubai is seeking a Director of Project Controls to lead and oversee the project control function across O&M projects. The role requires directing cost and schedule estimating teams, ensuring timely financial reporting, and driving performance against earnings targets.

The position emphasizes strong leadership, process improvement, and collaboration with Asset Performance Solution leadership to achieve strategic financial goals. UAE-based on-site work is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• 20 years of experience in O&M projects A&F, etc.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project control staff (cost schedule estimating) and provide leadership to the team.
• Accountable for the performance and results of the Project Controls function.
• Prepare and manage quarterly earnings gap analyses for Asset Performance Solution business.
• Support Asset Performance Solution Leadership actions to achieve business financial targets.
• Support PSL leadership by guiding opportunities to achieve earnings targets.
• Monthly PSR Reviews: manage agenda, review dates, approve actions, run PSR meetings.
• Oversee Project Forecast Model Updates: monthly updates and vendor MPR/Accruals support.
• Develop and provide project variances, trending and analysis of expenditures, and follow-up on actions.
• Cost Control management: review forecast controls and risk analysis.
• Liaison with accounting: monthly close-out, A/R and cash flow tracking, budget and forecast updates, SOX testing.
• Project Performance Analysis and Reporting.
• Oversee Reporting Systems and Analysis Development: Power BI & Power Apps, maintain database and forecast models.
• Participates in development of project cost controls strategy and global processes.

  • Run Monthly PSR meetings

  • Support PM with monthly updates
  • Support PEQ PM with monthly vendor MPR/Accruals
• Develops and provides project variances trending and analysis of expenditures and follow-up on actions items.

• Support Global Resource Management (CCR GRM TRM etc.)
• Liaison and support accounting team
