Job summary

HSBC is seeking a Director in Private Banking to manage UHNW client relationships and drive growth in AUM and net new money. The role requires deep knowledge of financial markets and a strong compliance mindset, with Arabic and English language skills preferred.

You will lead client portfolios, coordinate with bank departments, and ensure high standards of client service while navigating regulatory requirements in the UAE. A UAE visa and applicable licenses are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing UHNW client portfolios within Private Banking.
• Track record in asset gathering, growth and revenue generation.
• Excellent understanding of financial markets and products.
• Fluency in English and Arabic preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• A recognized degree and UAE visa/work permit attestations are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Oversee managing and developing a client portfolio providing full-service banking for high-net-worth individuals.
• Establish new relationships and manage existing client relationships.
• Grow revenue, increase AUM and net new money inflows guided by brand channels and RM network.
• Ensure client objectives with appropriate product selections and risk awareness.
• Research records to resolve discrepancies and provide documentation on client activities.
• Collaborate with other bank departments to meet internal controls and audit requirements.
• Address risk and compliance issues including CCR, KYC and regulatory requests.
