Job summary

Inception42, a G42 company, seeks a seasoned information security executive to shape and govern security across its enterprise platforms and cloud products. You will own strategy, risk oversight, control assurance, and security operations while aligning investments with business priorities.

You will lead a capable security function, drive policy across ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and CIS frameworks, and ensure audits and certifications are closed with measurable risk reduction.

Qualifications

• Experience leading an information security function with strategy, delivery and measurable improvements.
• Governance, risk and compliance expertise with policy and control frameworks.
• Ability to translate priorities into a funded security roadmap and responsibilities.
• Hands-on security operations experience including SIEM, incident leadership and recovery decisions.
• Cloud security capability across major platforms and secure architecture patterns.
• Credible executive and technical communication demonstrating security trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver the security strategy, operating model, and prioritised roadmap.
• Own governance framework, including policies, standards, and assurance aligned to ISO 27001/NIST/CIS.
• Direct risk management, maintain risk register, and govern treatment and residual exposure.
• Provide executive reporting on security posture and investment trade-offs.
• Lead security team, set responsibilities, development plans, and succession priorities.
• Own security operations outcomes across monitoring, detection, and response.
• Direct major incident response coordination, containment, and post-incident review.
• Govern vulnerability and exposure management with risk-based prioritisation.
• Oversee security compliance and assurance, including UAE requirements and audits.
• Set design standards for cloud workloads and collaborate with Engineering on controls.
