Job summary

Inception42, a G42 company, seeks a Director - Software Engineering to lead multidisciplinary teams building and operating production AI products and platforms. You will set technical direction, strengthen execution, and ensure that software, data, and ML systems are reliable, secure, and scalable.

You will collaborate with Product, Data, AI/ML, Security, and Enterprise Architecture to align technical execution with customer and business outcomes, sponsor focused R&D, and foster ownership-driven

Qualifications

Experience leading diverse engineering teams through complex delivery.
Shipping and operating production software, data, or machine learning systems at scale.
Deep understanding of data infrastructure, MLOps, quality engineering, DevSecOps, and the SDLC.

Responsibilities

Set engineering direction and execution priorities in line with product, technology, and business objectives.
Lead, develop, and support engineering managers and senior technical leaders.
Build an engineering culture grounded in ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Drive planning and delivery across complex engineering initiatives with clear trade-offs.
Guide architecture and technical decisions across software platforms, data infrastructure, ML pipelines, and deployment systems.
Embed security and compliance into the SDLC through practical DevSecOps controls and automation.
Collaborate with Product, Data, AI/ML, Security, and Enterprise Architecture to align technical execution with outcomes.
