Qualifications

Euro Sun GoodsWholesales LLC is an importer, exporter, and distributor of premium FMCGproducts including snacks, confectionery, beverages, and frozen foods withoperations across UAE, Malaysia, and Hong Kong.

We are seekinga Director of Operations & Finance to lead the operational backbone of thegroup and partner strategically on finance. This is a senior leadership rolewith broad scope: owning supply chain, logistics, systems, processes, peopleoperations, facilities, trade compliance, commercial operations, andcross-functional project delivery across all three entities. The Director willalso provide senior finance oversight, partnering with the Finance Manager onstrategy, controls, compliance, and treasury.

The successfulcandidate will be a strategic yet hands-on operator who combines commercialsharpness with operational discipline. They will build and develop teams, driveexecution excellence across the group, lead the systems and process agenda(including the ongoing ERP rollout), and act as a credible senior face of thebusiness with auditors, banks, principals, and partners. The role offerssubstantial scope, visibility, and genuine growth potential.

KeyResponsibilities

Operations Leadership

• Lead supply chain and logistics across the group(imports, exports, shipping, warehousing, inventory); drive reliability, costefficiency, and service levels.
• Own procurement and vendor management: principalrelationships, supplier terms, cost management, and strategic sourcingdecisions.
• Lead systems and IT strategy: ERP (Microsoft Dynamicsrollout and optimisation), process automation, digital tools, and the IT &Digital function.
• Drive process and SOP design across the business: buildand maintain the operating system of the group with discipline, documentation,and accountability.
• Own people and HR operations: headcount planning,hiring frameworks, performance management, compensation structure, andorganisational culture.
• Lead facilities and physical operations: office space,warehouses, insurance, and security across jurisdictions.
• Own trade compliance and risk management: insurance,trade finance, documentary risk, and regulatory compliance across UAE,Malaysia, and Hong Kong.
• Lead commercial operations: sales operations, pricingdiscipline, and ownership of the order-to-cash and procure-to-pay processes.
• Lead cross-functional projects including the ERProllout, listing readiness workstreams, new entity setup, and transformationinitiatives.

Finance Oversight

• Review and approve finance deliverables (monthlyaccounts, cash flow, forecasts, budgets); challenge where needed and set thebar for quality.
• Partner with the Finance Manager on major commercialand financial decisions: pricing, credit, investment, treasury, and financing.
• Own financial strategy and planning: budgets,forecasts, scenario planning, capital allocation, and listing readinessworkstream.
• Own audit, compliance, and governance acrossjurisdictions: external audit relationships, statutory compliance, riskregister, and controls framework.
• Provide senior oversight on treasury and cashmanagement: bank relationships, FX exposure, trade finance, and working capitalposture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Finance,Supply Chain, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 12 to 15 years of hands-on experience, with a proventrack record at Director level in a multi-entity or multi-jurisdictionalbusiness.
• FMCG, trading, or distribution industry experiencestrongly preferred; other industries considered where the operations andfinance fundamentals are strong.
• Deep operations expertise across supply chain,logistics, systems, procurement, and process design; comfortable owning thefull operating backbone of the business.
• Strong finance acumen: able to partner strategicallywith the Finance Manager, challenge numbers, own financial strategy, and leadaudit and compliance oversight.
• Experience leading ERP implementation or optimisation(Microsoft Dynamics preferred) and driving systems and digital transformationat scale.
• Professional qualifications (MICPA, ACCA, CPAAustralia, CIMA, or similar) are an advantage.
• Supply chain or operations certifications (APICS CSCP,CPIM, CLTD, Six Sigma, Lean, or similar) are an advantage.

• Hands-on operator: comfortable rolling up sleeves in anSME environment and leading from the front, not just from a distance.
