Job summary

Dorchester Collection Dubai is seeking a Director of Marketing & Communications to lead the Marketing & Communications function across The Lana brand. You will collaborate with senior leadership to drive brand awareness, guest engagement and revenue growth within our luxury hotels in the Middle East.

The role requires a university diploma and extensive experience in marketing, communications and luxury hospitality. English is the primary business language; Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• A relevant university diploma.
• Extensive experience in marketing, communications and brand management.
• Experience in luxury hospitality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure department achieves marketing and communications objectives and contributes to revenue growth.
• Maintain direct oversight over the Marketing & Communications department.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management, Finance, F&B, Spa and Front Office to develop budgets and plans.
• Communicate strategic vision and objectives to drive awareness and brand recognition.
• Provide regular marketing and communications reports to the Executive Committee.

What youll do

Youll love what you do and take pride in delighting our guests:

• You will be responsible for ensuring that your department achieves the hotels financial the marketing & communications objectives set by the Director of Sales & Marketing to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.
• Youll also be responsible for maintaining direct oversight over the marketing and communications Department
• You will work closely with Revenue Management Finance Food and Beverage Spa and the Front Office departments of the hotel to develop and execute an annual marketing and communications budget and plan.
• You will ensure that the marketing and communications team understand their roles and will clearly communicate them the strategic vision and objectives on how to drive awareness and brand recognition resulting in improve performances and revenues.

• As a member of the Hotels senior management team you will be responsible for providing the Executive Committee with regular marketing and communications reports for the strategic commercial plan monthly reports annual goals sales and marketing budget forecasts and other reports as directed/required.
• It will be critical for you to consider every situation as a commercial and marketing opportunity to showcase the Hotel products and services.
