Job summary

Nathan & Nathan Human Resources seeks a Director - Security Affairs (UAE Nationals) in Abu Dhabi to lead physical security and cybersecurity programs. The role oversees security protocols for facilities, assets, and personnel while coordinating with procurement and IT for cybersecurity implementations.

Ideal candidate has 15+ years in security operations with governance or risk management, plus strong vendor management and incident response capabilities, reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Cybersecurity, IT, Risk Management, or related field; master's preferred.
• 15+ years of relevant experience with leadership in security operations, governance, or risk management.
• Experience overseeing physical security and cybersecurity through internal teams and external providers.
• Government, defence, or critical infrastructure environment experience preferred.
• Strong vendor management, incident response, stakeholder coordination, and reporting to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee security protocols for facilities, personnel, visitors, and assets.
• Coordinate with Corporate Procurement to select security service providers, review and renew contracts, monitor performance, and manage vendor transitions.
• Arrange site risk assessments and vulnerability reviews, address gaps in perimeter security, access control, surveillance, and emergency response.
• Oversee access control arrangements, including badges, visitor registration, and clearance procedures.
• Coordinate responses to physical security incidents with internal teams, service providers, and authorities.
• Monitor CCTV, intrusion detection, and alarm system effectiveness.
• Arrange security awareness training and contribute to evacuation and business continuity plans.
• Report security incidents, risks, corrective actions, and performance to management.
• Provide cybersecurity input into IT systems, networks, cloud services, databases, and applications.
