You will drive security strategies, oversee audits and incident response, manage data protection and third-party security, and report risks to senior management. Requires 10+ years in information security with 3+ in leadership; CISSP or CISM preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with strong information security foundation.
• Over 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in information security and 3 years in leadership.
• Hands-on in UAE cybersecurity, data protection requirements, Abu Dhabi government security requirements and NCEMA standards.
• Experience in governance, risk management, audits and incident response.
• Certifications such as CISSP or CISM preferred.

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Manager to lead information security governance, cybersecurity risk management and compliance. The ideal candidate will understand applicable UAE laws, Abu Dhabi government security requirements and relevant NCEMA standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement information security strategies, policies, procedures and controls.
• Oversee compliance with applicable UAE legislation, Abu Dhabi government requirements and relevant information assurance frameworks.
• Lead security risk assessments, audits and remediation plans.
• Oversee security monitoring, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing and incident response.
• Manage data protection, access controls, cloud security and third-party security risks.
• Coordinate cybersecurity resilience and disaster recovery with business continuity arrangements, supporting alignment with applicable NCEMA requirements.
• Manage security providers, deliver employee awareness programmes and report security risks and performance to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in information security and 3 years in a leadership role.
• Practical experience applying UAE cybersecurity and data protection requirements, Abu Dhabi government security requirements and relevant NCEMA standards.
• Strong experience in security governance, risk management, audits and incident response.
• CISSP, CISM or an equivalent relevant certification preferred.
• UAE government or regulated-sector experience preferred.
