Capital.com is hiring a Director of Finance to own all finance activity across our UAE operations. You will be the senior finance authority for the UAE, overseeing regulatory reporting, treasury, accounting and controls while leading a local finance team.

You will consolidate five UAE entities, manage audits, and partner with regulators, banks and the group FP&A function to align plans with the broader business strategy.

Qualifications

• ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Experience leading consolidation, treasury and regulatory reporting across multiple UAE entities.
• Strong knowledge of UAE regulatory reporting and client money rules.
• Proven external audit leadership and regulator engagement.

Capital.com is hiring a Director of Finance to own all finance activity across our UAE operations — a region spanning both regulated and non-regulated entities as the business scales in the Middle East. You'll be the senior finance authority for the UAE, carrying direct regulatory exposure and acting as the primary finance counterpart for regulators, auditors, banks and group leadership. This is a hands‑on regional leadership role: you'll combine financial control, regulatory reporting, treasury oversight and audit management with the people leadership of a local finance team, giving the UAE business a single point of financial control as it grows.

What You Will Do

• Own all financial regulatory reporting for the UAE regulated entities, including monthly client money reports, monthly cash flow forecasts and annual regulatory reports to UAE regulators
• Lead the consolidation of the UAE entities (currently 5) and prepare group internal management accounts monthly
• Direct all treasury activity, including daily cash position monitoring and oversight of daily client money reconciliations in line with applicable UAE regulatory rules
• Lead the annual external audits across all UAE entities and own the relationship with external auditors end to end
• Own the budget and budget-vs-actual analysis for the UAE region, coordinating business plans with the Group FP&A team
• Take responsibility for all finance-related matters in the UAE region — banking, payments and PSP relationships (in collaboration with group e-money and treasury teams), payroll, accounting, bookkeeping and tax
• Approve expenses and costs for the region and oversee supplier payments
• Support tax planning and ensure tax compliance across both regulated and non-regulated UAE entities
• Build and manage relationships with regulators, tax authorities, banks and suppliers
• Lead, develop and manage the finance team, including objective setting, performance management and succession planning

What you bring

• ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification
• Senior finance leadership experience within a CFD, forex or online trading brokerage, with hands‑on ownership of consolidation, treasury and regulatory reporting across multiple entities
• Direct experience with UAE regulatory reporting and client money rules (SCA and/or DFSA/ADGM frameworks)
• Proven experience leading external audit relationships end to end, as the primary point of contact for auditors, regulators and banking partners
• Strong people leadership experience, having built and managed a finance team through a period of growth
• Excellent working knowledge of IFRS and multi‑entity consolidation

Nice to have

• Arabic language skills
• Experience coordinating with a Group FP&A function across multiple jurisdictions
