The ideal candidate is both strategic and inventive, able to unify Talabat's tone of voice across all business areas while showcasing our authentic brand. He/She will be responsible for crafting messaging that reinforces Talabat's fun and relatable brand identity, telling our story to the world like it has never been told before.
Responsibilities include:
- Crafting and executing Talabat's communication strategy throughout the MENA region.
- Collaborating with top management and stakeholders to align communication strategies with the company's goals.
- Leading our regional communications team, providing strategic direction and fostering growth.
- Creating communication assets and content to meet local market objectives.
- Working closely with Talabat's brand and marketing teams to ensure a consistent brand voice across all channels.
- Managing relationships with key media outlets, influencers, and stakeholders.
- Ensuring all communication materials comply with relevant regulations in collaboration with Talabat's legal team.
- Playing a key role in crisis communications by providing strategic direction and content.
- Evaluating and reporting on the effectiveness of communication campaigns, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience leading communications in multiple markets; experience in the MENA region is advantageous.
- Ability to create innovative and impactful communication campaigns that resonate with a young customer base.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to guide teams across markets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
- Experience in crisis and issues management.
- Successful track record of building and maintaining relationships with media outlets, influencers, and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in communication, public relations, or a related field.
