Job summary

Soar seeks a hands-on BI and analytics leader to guide the function, align with business leaders, and deliver trusted insights across UX, credit, collections, investment and operations. You will own the semantic layer, metric definitions, and dashboards while mentoring analysts and coordinating with architecture and AI teams.

You will write SQL, build semantic models, and drive decision-ready insights from data, ensuring governance, accuracy, and adoption across the company.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in BI / analytics roles with cross-functional ownership.
• Hands-on experience writing SQL and building data models.
• Expert SQL including JSON at event/log scale, Snowflake experience.
• Depth with dbt or equivalent and semantic layer.
• BI development skills with Looker/Power BI/Tableau or similar.

Responsibilities

• Set priorities and deliver the BI/analytics roadmap.
• Build and own the semantic layer and event taxonomy.
• Deliver decision-ready analysis and translate findings into recommendations.
• Develop dashboards with defined owners and KPIs.
• Establish governance, data quality, and access controls.
