Job summary

National Oilwell Varco seeks a Kaizen Operations Drilling Support specialist in Abu Dhabi to deploy and support our Kaizen digital drilling products. The role focuses on field-based product support and training for customers and internal teams, including deployments and trials.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years in MWD/LWD or directional drilling, be capable of training on digital drilling solutions, and be prepared for international travel.

Qualifications

• Familiar with drilling practices and can identify areas of concern based on real-time drilling data.
• Provide frontline digital drilling solutions support and be able to elevate issues when required based on well-defined processes.
• Communicating with internal teams and customers daily.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
• Self-motivated, proactive and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Support digital drilling applications through field-based training and deployments.
• Engage with customer-side Drilling Engineers before and during deployments, including training and feedback.
• Assist in training, drilling advisory, and sustained adoption activities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Line, Field Engineering, Operations and Digital Commercialization teams to share Kaizen knowledge.
