Job summary

Al-Futtaim Automotive is seeking a Diagnostic Technician to diagnose and repair complex vehicles within the UAE. You will work with workshop colleagues and customers to ensure repairs are completed correctly the first time and contribute to improved tools, methods, and efficiency.

Role requires a diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering with 3–5 years’ workshop experience, plus strong diagnostic, communication, and analytical skills to deliver high-quality vehicle repairs.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering is required.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a reputable workshop in a similar role.
• Strong automotive diagnostic and technical skills.
• Effective verbal communication and teamwork.
• Customer-focused and analytical approach.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle faults and complete repairs accurately.
• Support technicians with diagnostic and repair procedures.
• Minimize repeat repairs through high-quality workmanship.
• Explain completed and required work clearly to service advisors, supervisors, colleagues, and customers.
• Recommend improvements to tools, equipment, work methods, and the workshop environment.
• Identify training needs and maintain up-to-date product knowledge.
• Assist spare-parts colleagues with correct parts identification.
• Contribute to technician productivity, utilization, and efficiency.

About The Team

• You will join the Aftersales Department in the UAE and report to the Workshop Supervisor and work closely with technicians, foremen, service advisors, customers, and spare‑parts colleagues to deliver efficient, high‑quality vehicle repairs.
