Job summary

Euptech Gulf Engineering LLC is seeking an Assistant Accountant to support daily financial operations in Abu Dhabi. You will handle data entry, ledger maintenance, bank reconciliations, and processing of invoices and expense reports.

You will assist with month‑end and year‑end closings, payroll, VAT filing, and preparing financial reports while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Teamwork and independent work will both be required.

Qualifications

• Tagalog speaker
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and time‑management skills
• Proficient in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Assist in day‑to‑day accounting operations including data entry, ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
• Process invoices, expense reports, and payment vouchers.
• Maintain accounts payable and receivable records.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting processes.
• Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
• Maintain proper filing of financial documents.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Perform other finance‑related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• Process employee payroll, VAT filing, end‑of‑month reports, and petty cash.
