PPOAR in Abu Dhabi, UAE seeks an Accountant Assistant to support the accounting team with daily tasks and financial operations. The role offers part-time hours and flexibility to learn and grow within the accounting function.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting, at least 1 year of experience, and strong English communication skills to liaise with clients and vendors. Knowledge of UAE regulations is a plus.

Accountant Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible Accountant Assistant to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As an Accountant Assistant, you will work closely with our accounting team to support their daily tasks and ensure the smooth operations of our financial department.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and budgets
• Process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions
• Maintain accurate records of all financial activities
• Monitor and reconcile bank statements and accounts
• Handle payroll processing and maintain employee records
• Liaise with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders regarding financial matters
• Support the accounting team in month-end and year-end close processes
• Keep up-to-date with accounting regulations and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
