Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Design Manager - Interiors to lead hospitality and retail interior design across projects, guiding concept to construction while ensuring brand standards and guest experience. You will coordinate consultants, prepare executive presentations, manage budgets and schedules, and develop design management systems to enhance performance.

You will also conduct trend research and contribute to market strategy and financial assessment to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
• 10+ years of experience in interior design and management roles, preferably in hospitality and retail.

Responsibilities

• Define project briefs with brand positioning and guest experience in mind.
• Guide interior design projects from concept through schematic design and tender documentation.
• Lead design quality reviews for hospitality and retail projects, ensuring brand alignment and operational functionality.
• Coordinate FF&E, lighting, MEP coordination, and fire-life-safety reviews.
• Prepare detailed commentary for executive presentations with concept narratives and material palettes.
• Resolve conflicts and explain rationale to stakeholders to protect company interests.
• Secure statutory approvals with consultants and coordinate approvals processes.
• Support development of marketing and leasing collateral, including plans and presentation packages.
