Job summary

Al-Futtaim Real Estate is seeking a Design Manager - Interiors to lead interior design management for hospitality and retail projects across development and design teams in Dubai. You will guide projects from concept through tender, ensure brand standards, and coordinate with consultants to deliver high‑quality spaces that enhance guest experience.

The role requires 10+ years in interior design and management, with strong MEP, FF&E coordination, and presentation skills, plus proficiency in MS

Qualifications

• Master's or bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of interior design and management experience, preferably in hospitality or retail.
• Strong understanding of MEP, fire-life-safety, and FF&E coordination.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of Adobe Suite and planning software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define the Design Brief including context, brand positioning, guest experience expectations, and technical criteria.
• Guide interior design projects from concept through schematic design and tender documentation, advising Project Management throughout delivery.
• Lead reviews of hospitality and retail interior projects for design quality, compliance, brand alignment, and operational functionality.
• Conduct comprehensive technical review of interior design elements, including FF&E, lighting, MEP coordination, and fire‑life‑safety.
• Prepare detailed commentary on interior design deliverables for executive presentations, including concept narratives and material palettes.
• Resolve issues from conflicting feedback, maintaining company interest and explaining rationale to stakeholders.
• Secure necessary statutory approvals with consultants and direct coordination.
• Support development of marketing and leasing collateral, including plans and presentation packages.
