Job summary

We are hiring an experienced Design Engineer for a reputed Automotive Manufacturing Company in Dubai, UAE. Candidate must have strong hands-on experience in Sheet Metal Design and Automotive Components design using CATIA & SolidWorks.

Responsibilities include designing automotive parts, creating 3D models, drawings and BOM, applying GD&T, and coordinating with production teams for prototype development and final approval in a fast-paced on-site environment in Dubai.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in sheet metal design and automotive components design using CATIA & SolidWorks.
• Experience in design of automotive parts per industry standards.
• Knowledge of GD&T, materials and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automotive parts, components, and sheet metal assemblies using CATIA & SolidWorks
• Create 3D models, detailed 2D manufacturing drawings, and BOM
• Apply sheet metal design, fabrication, and manufacturing processes
• Develop designs per customer specifications and automotive industry standards
• Perform design calculations, tolerance stack-up analysis, DFM/DFA
• Coordinate with production, quality, and purchase teams for prototype development and final approval
• Improve existing designs for better quality, performance, and cost optimization
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and design history

• Strong experience in Sheet Metal Design & Automotive Design
• Good knowledge of GD&T, materials, manufacturing processes
• Ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings
• Immediate joiners will be given preference
