Job Summary

Gilani Mobility is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer – Designer to support the design, development, and manufacturing of automotive, mobility, and accessibility solutions. The role bridges engineering design and production by ensuring products are manufacturable, cost-effective, and compliant with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities Design & Engineering

• Design and modify mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications
• Support product development from concept through production and implementation
• Conduct design reviews and implement improvements for manufacturability and efficiency
• Support prototyping, testing, and validation of new and modified designs

Manufacturing Support

• Collaborate with production teams to ensure designs are optimized for fabrication and assembly
• Provide technical support during manufacturing, installation, and commissioning
• Identify and resolve design-related production issues
• Support process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency

Analysis & Compliance

• Perform basic engineering calculations and design checks as required
• Support equipment testing and performance evaluations
• Ensure designs comply with ISO 9001 quality standards and relevant engineering codes
• Maintain proper engineering documentation and revision control

Coordination & Reporting

• Work closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Procurement teams
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, and project documentation
• Participate in continuous improvement and innovation initiatives

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Experience in mechanical design and manufacturing engineering roles
