Job summary

Apex Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Compliance professional to implement and monitor AML and regulatory controls across the business. You will perform risk assessments, oversee KYC/CDD, and work with senior management to ensure compliance with local and international standards.

Capable of DMLRO duties, you will support investigations, AML alerts, and regulatory filings while maintaining records and driving control enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
• Professional certification (CAMS/ICA) preferred.
• AML/CFT experience in financial services.
• 3-5 years of experience in Compliance or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain the Compliance and AML Frameworks.
• Monitor compliance with FSRA regulations, ADGM laws, and internal policies.
• Identify, assess, and report compliance and regulatory risks.
• Track regulatory developments and assess business impact.
• Maintain compliance registers, breaches, and regulatory obligations.
• Provide regulatory guidance and support awareness of AML/CFT and sanctions.
• Act as deputy MLRO when required (DMLRO duties).
• Assist with regulator inquiries, inspections, and reporting.
