Job summary

GEMS Education in Ras Al Khaimah seeks a Head of Primary to lead vision, ethos, and strategic priorities across the school. You will line-manage senior staff, ensure high-quality teaching and robust use of data, and contribute to the School Development Plan and inspection prep.

You will drive assessment systems, staff development, parental engagement, and safeguarding while promoting cross-curricular collaboration and innovation to raise standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in senior leadership within primary education.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum, assessment, and data-informed decision making.
• Committed to safeguarding, inclusion, and high instructional standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement the school vision, ethos, and priorities.
• Line manage senior leaders to ensure curriculum delivery and data use.
• Coordinate School Development Plan and inspection readiness.
• Drive teaching quality, learning walks, and lesson observations.

• Engage parents and maintain transparent communication.
