Job summary

GEMS Westminster School - RAK in Ras al-Khaimah invites an experienced Senior Leader to shape teaching and learning across Primary. You will drive the school vision, oversee curriculum delivery, and develop leadership capacity within the team.

You will deputise for Head of Primary, manage data-informed assessment, strengthen parental engagement, and lead continuous improvement through coaching, safeguarding, and high expectations.

Qualifications

• Evidence of strategic leadership and school improvement experience.
• Ability to lead school development plans and self-evaluation.
• Strong data management for tracking progress and attainment.
• Experience coaching and developing senior leaders.
• Proven commitment to safeguarding and child protection in schools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement the school vision, ethos, and strategic priorities.
• Ensure high-quality teaching across all subjects and lead TL framework implementation.
• Oversee data-informed assessment, reporting, and Raising Attainment Plans (RAPs).
• Develop staff through coaching, mentoring, and appraisal processes.
• Strengthen parental engagement and effective communication with families.
• Model professionalism and drive continuous improvement in school culture and outcomes.
