Job summary

Rixos Hotels Gulf is seeking a motivated Demi Chef de Partie to join the culinary team at Josephine, Rixos Premium Dubai, JBR. The role supports the Chef de Partie in preparation, cooking and presentation while upholding the highest standards of quality, hygiene and consistency in the kitchen.

The Demi Chef de Partie will operate within a luxury hospitality environment, ensuring HACCP compliance, maintaining mise en place, and mentoring junior colleagues as required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or senior Commis Chef in hotel or premium restaurant.
• Basic to intermediate culinary techniques.
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef de Partie with daily prep and operation.
• Prepare ingredients, mise en place and dishes per recipes.
• Ensure food is prepared and presented to standard and on time.
• Support and guide junior chefs when required.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety.
• Follow HACCP, health and safety and company policies.
• Use kitchen equipment correctly and report maintenance issues.
