The Delivery Manager - International IT will be responsible for managing technology projects for International IT and business stakeholders, with a strong focus on banking infrastructure, cloud platforms, application migration, network and firewall technologies, and technology modernization. This position requires structured project governance, strong communication, proactive risk management, and practical delivery experience across banking technology environments. The selected candidate will work closely with internal teams, vendors, business units, and technology leaders to ensure smooth execution of strategic IT initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end delivery of International IT and business technology projects across infrastructure, cloud, banking applications, and modernization workstreams.
- Work closely with International IT, business stakeholders, internal technology teams, and vendors to understand requirements and deliver agreed outcomes.
- Lead medium‑to‑large‑scale infrastructure projects such as infrastructure refresh, platform upgrades, cloud migration, technology modernization, and banking application migrations.
- Prepare project plans, timelines, resource plans, budgets, risk logs, issue trackers, and delivery status reports.
- Coordinate project teams, vendors, infrastructure specialists, cloud engineers, application teams, network teams, and security stakeholders.
- Track scope, budget, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and change requests throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure project risks and issues are documented, reviewed regularly, and escalated to the right stakeholders when required.
- Support delivery across AWS, Azure, Microsoft technologies, network platforms, firewall technologies, and banking technology domains.
- Apply suitable project delivery methodologies including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches based on project needs.
- Use tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word to manage planning, reporting, documentation, and stakeholder updates.
- Ensure project governance, communication, approvals, and reporting are aligned with banking technology standards.
- Monitor vendor commitments, delivery timelines, contractual expectations, and service quality.
- Support decision‑making through clear analysis, practical recommendations, and timely communication.
- Drive project closure activities, lessons learned, documentation handover, and post‑implementation review.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in technology delivery, programme management, or project management within the banking sector.
- Proven track record delivering medium‑to‑large‑scale infrastructure, cloud, technology modernization, and banking application projects.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and its underlying components.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, Microsoft technologies, network technologies, and firewall platforms.
- Practical experience in project planning, resource coordination, budget tracking, vendor management, and risk or issue resolution.
- Good exposure to technology implementation and project delivery governance.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Hands‑on experience using Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a proactive and ownership‑driven approach.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
