Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Delegate Sales experience, preferably in the conference industry.
• Strong phone based presentation skills are required.
• Must exhibit a positive attitude and confidence in negotiation.

• Generate delegate sales revenue in line with agreed targets.
• Identify market growth opportunities in telesales and delegate sales.
• Build rapport with existing and new clientele databases.

Responsibilities

• Generate delegate sales revenue in line with agreed targets & objectives


• Work with assistant sales manager to ensure agreed KPIs are met on a consistent basis


• Ensures that goals and targets are met


• Identifies telesales and delegate sales potential market growth opportunity


• Responsible for delegate profiling for each event selling (Identifies job titles relevant to each event selling)


• Helps to build rapport with existing and build new clientele database


• Works closely with Producers, Marketing and Sponsorship team working on the same events to ensure targets are met

Qualifications

• Candidates should have experience in conference sales, business to business sales, media sales, ad sales, intangible sales, consultative selling, publishing, trade show sales, interactive media sales and or event sales preferred.


• Strong phone based presentation skills


• Positive attitude


• Confident contract negotiator able to work with senior level executives


• Minimum of 1 year of Delegate Sales experience preferably in the conference industry


• Ability to work independently and be self driven


• Excel at managing multiple tasks at one time and perform in a high energy, fast paced environment
