Job summary

Palmira Software House is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead enterprise software projects from initiation to go-live across the region. Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience delivering enterprise software.
• Experience in government or semi-government digital transformation projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• PMP certification required; ITIL or Liferay knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in a consulting or professional services environment is preferred.
• Arabic speaker with fluency in English (spoken and written).
• Willingness to travel for project needs, based in UAE.

Job description

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver enterprise software projects from initiation to go-live. This role requires hands-on leadership, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to drive projects to success on time and within budget. The ideal candidate should be open to occasional travel as required to support project delivery and client engagement across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage full project lifecycle: scoping, planning, execution, monitoring, and closureLead cross-functional teams and manage client relationships

Ensure projects meet quality standards, scope, timelines, and budget

Identify and manage project risks, changes, and dependencies

Create and maintain project documentation and reporting

Performs gate reviews and quality assurance reviews with all aspects of the organization and business sponsors

Work within defined governance processes and perform the relevant project management processes

Support development of business cases with the customer team including leading on the solutions estimate

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of project management experience, including full-cycle enterprise software project delivery

Proven experience in government or semi-government digital transformation projects

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools (Agile, PRINCE2, Waterfall)PMP Certification requiredITIL or Liferay knowledge is a plus

Prior experience in a consulting or professional services environment is preferredRelevant experience in a technical field (application development, deployment/implementation) is preferredExcellent leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills

Arabic speaker with fluency in English (spoken and written)
