Job summary

The Lana Hotel by Dorchester Collection in Dubai seeks a Deck Hand to join our luxury yacht operations. You will be part of a celebrated team dedicated to delivering outstanding guest experiences at sea, with a focus on safety, discretion and flawless presentation.

You will collaborate with the Boat Captain and hotel colleagues to maintain a guest-ready vessel, assist docking, cleaning and basic maintenance, and coordinate seamless service on board.

Qualifications

• Strong boating operation skills and luxury service standards.
• Experience on premium yachts (Sunseeker Predator 57 preferred).
• Valid UAE Small Boat Driving License (or equivalent) required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain yacht in pristine condition and guest-ready at all times.
• Assist with docking, cleaning, basic maintenance and guest boarding; uphold safety standards.
• Collaborate with Boat Captain and hotel team to ensure seamless luxury experiences on board.
• Deliver magical moments for guests, enhancing Dorchester Collection’s legacy.

What youll do

Youll love what you do and take pride in delighting our guests:

• You will be responsible for ensuring our yacht is impeccably maintained and guest-ready at all times delivering nothing but the best experience for our guests.
• You will manage docking cleaning basic maintenance guest boarding assistance and uphold all safety and operational standards on board.

• Youll work closely with the Boat Captain and hotel team to ensure a seamless luxury experience for every guest on board.
• Weather its a scenic coastal cruise or a private sunset charter; youll help deliver magical moments our guests will never forget.

What youll bring

• Youll bring your unique personality and passion to the role and the team.
• You possess strong boating operation skills and a clear understanding of luxury service standards.
• Experience working on a Sunseeker Predator 57 is highly preferred.
• Clear and confident communication is essential to ensure seamless coordination between departments. Youll represent our hotel at sea so exceptional communication and presentation skills are a must.
• You hold a valid UAE Small Boat Driving License (or equivalent certifications) required to operate this class of vessel.
• English is the primary language used onboard and you can communicate comfortably in it. Additional languagessuch as Arabic French or Italian are an advantage.
• A natural ability to anticipate guest needs work well under pressure and maintain composure with a smile in every situation.
