Job summary

Majid Al Futtaim is seeking an Associate Manager - DC Inventory to lead the inventory control function at the Distribution Center in the UAE, ensuring accuracy and minimizing stock losses while overseeing goods receiving, stock management, replenishment, and shipment invoicing.

You will drive improvements in inventory tracking, conduct cycle counts and audits, manage WMS configurations, apply FIFO/FEFO/LIFO, and develop the inventory team through coaching and performance management.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant managerial experience in inventory/control.
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in WMS and forecasting.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead inventory control operations across the Distribution Centre.
• Oversee daily inventory activities: goods receiving, stock management, replenishment, order allocation, and shipment invoicing.
• Manage inventory tracking systems, cycle counts, and stock audits.
• Analyze inventory performance, shortages, losses, and supplier compliance.
• Ensure proper WMS configuration and application of FIFO/FEFO/LIFO principles.
• Drive efficiency by improving logistics processes and reducing costs.
• Develop and coach the inventory team through performance management.
• Ensure compliance with policies, financial procedures, and cross-functional coordination.
