Job summary

PeopleStrong seeks a Design Lead (Electrical - DC) with 10–12 years’ experience to oversee engineering activities for Solar PV power plants, including generation estimates, layouts, DC SLDs, and module sizing. You will coordinate BIM modeling, ensure timely drawings, and provide technical guidance to tenders and site teams.

The role requires strong knowledge of electrical design, inter‑departmental checks, and compliance with relevant codes and standards across pre‑bid to commissioning phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• 10–12 years of experience in design aspects of Solar PV Power Plants / Power Distribution Projects.
• Knowledge of national and international codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical inputs to tendering team.
• Delivery of engineering drawings and documents on time.
• Review and size electrical equipment, drawings, and vendor deliverables.
• Coordinate with civil/structural, instrumentation, MEP and site teams.
• Support pre-bid engineering, commissioning, and warranty periods.
• Inspect vendor equipment and review pre-award evaluation.
