Job summary

GDIT seeks a seasoned AI/ML lead in Dubai to shape strategy, architecture, and deployment of scalable models for CMS missions.

You will guide data pipelines, model lifecycle, and risk management while mentoring engineers across teams in a global defense and government context. A strong background in Python/R/Java, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and cloud AI platforms is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in AI/ML, data science, or software engineering.
• 5+ years deploying AI/ML solutions in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead for AI/ML strategy, architecture, and implementation
• Design and deploy scalable AI/ML models in support of the CMS mission
• Lead development of predictive analytics, automation frameworks, and intelligent decision-support systems
• Integrate AI solutions into secure enterprise and tactical environments
• Provide oversight of data engineering pipelines and model lifecycle management (MLOps)
• Develop model validation, explainability, and bias mitigation practices
• Drive AI security risk management and produce required ATO and configuration documentation
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across cross-functional teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or Mathematics
• 10+ years of progressive experience in AI/ML, data science, or software engineering
• 5+ years of hands-on experience deploying AI/ML solutions in production environments
• Proficiency in Python, R, and/or Java
• Deep understanding of TensorFlow or PyTorch, preferably within AWS SageMaker
• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and agentic AI technologies
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry, or Google Vertex AI
• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance and meet US residency requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise-scale Salesforce Solutions and Agentforce
• Experience working with U.S. Federal Agencies, specifically CMS
• Experience deploying AI/ML solutions in AWS GovCloud or Azure Government
• Knowledge of Zero Trust architectures
