Job summary

PCS Gulf is seeking a Backup & Recovery Administrator in Dubai to manage daily backup jobs, ensure data protection, and maintain high availability of the data protection platform across On-Premises and Cloud environments.

The role requires strong Veritas NetBackup experience, Windows Server and Azure proficiency, and ITIL process knowledge, with a focus on maintaining robust disaster recovery capabilities.

Qualifications

• Certification in Windows Servers, Azure Cloud Technologies & Virtualization.
• ITIL processes: Incident, Service Request and Change Management.
• 4+ years managing Veritas NetBackup in a large org.
• 5+ years handling Veritas NetBackup at scale.

Responsibilities

• Day to day administration of Backup & Recovery Jobs.
• Ensure organization data is adequately protected and recoverable at any time.
• Installation, Configuration and Administration of Data Protection Platform.
• Ensure high availability of the Data protection platform (On-Premises & Cloud).
• Conduct periodic recovery tests to verify effectiveness of backup/recovery.
