Job summary

SD (Middle East) LLC in Dubai is seeking a Data Integration Engineer to normalize data from multiple sources for ingestion into Vanderlande Logistics’ SaaS platform. You will design, implement, and QA data integration solutions, APIs, and accompanying docs.

The role requires programming in Java or Python, SQL, Unix/Linux basics, familiarity with GitLab, and Agile/Lean practices. English fluency is required; German is a plus, and aviation domain knowledge is a benefit.

Qualifications

Educational background in software development, computer science, mathematics, or related field.
Experience with at least one programming language (Java or Python).
Knowledge of SQL, networking, and Unix/Linux is a plus.
Familiarity with APIs and data integration tasks.
Fluent English; German language is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Develop code to normalize data from various sources for ingestion and processing in Vanderlande Logistics’ flagship SaaS application.
Ensure quality assurance for SaaS applications.
Design and enhance technical solutions for both new and existing customers.
Document proposed and implemented solutions, ensuring sound design and architecture.
Provide regular status updates to requestors and key stakeholders.
Manage the handover process for the Service and Customer Success teams.
