Job summary

Bayut & dubizzle is seeking an Associate Data Engineer to join a cloud-based data warehousing team in the UAE. You will handle end-to-end data lifecycle—from raw data integration to advanced modeling and data visualization—working with batch and real-time pipelines across multiple departments.

You will develop in Amazon Redshift, build ETL with Matillion, and create data products that drive data-driven features. A collaborative, fast-paced environment offers extensive learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Top-ranking academic background in a technical discipline such as computer science, engineering, mathematics, or physics.
• 2+ years of experience with customer-centric data at big data-scale, preferably in online/e-commerce.
• 1+ years of programming with Python and SQL.
• Experience with a modern big data warehouse, ETL and data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Perform raw data integrations with primary and third-party systems.
• Perform data warehouse modeling for operational and application data layers.
• Develop in the Amazon Redshift cluster and SQL in an agile team.
• Design and implement ETL in Matillion ETL and work with real-time pipelines using AWS services.
