Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) offers a Data Center Operations Internship for a UAE national, with roles starting in June 2024 in Dubai/Abu Dhabi (Kizad). The internship focuses on maintenance of data center infrastructure and hands-on hardware and network diagnostics.

Interns will work in the Operations team, gain exposure to independent work and teamwork, learn to repair hardware, install equipment, and document solutions, with mentorship and career growth in a dynamic, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing IT certification or technical bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Strong written and verbal communication required.
• UAE National with family book is required.
• Ability to work well in a team and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide infrastructure-related support for hardware and networking tickets.
• Assist with hardware repairs in data center servers under supervision.
• Learn equipment installation, documentation, and solution tradeoffs.
• Repair drives, motherboards, and networking components under guidance of engineers.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and contractors on site.
