Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) UAE national data center engineering operations internship in Dubai, running for 12 weeks during Summer 2024. The program targets UAE nationals with a family book, aligned with UAE government objectives.

Interns will provide technical support within owned data centers, ensuring 100% availability of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems while delivering excellent service to internal teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Fluent English language required.
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain mechanical and electrical equipment in data centers.
• Assist root cause analysis of equipment failures.
• Assist in troubleshooting facility and rack‑level events within internal SLA.
• Take daily readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Utilize CMMS to manage building workflows.
• Interact with third party vendors & contractors on site.
